Having trouble losing weight? Eating right and working out regularly, but don’t feel like you’re getting the results that you want or deserve? The issue could lie in where you lay. That’s right, the boudoir…..
Hey! Get your mind out of the gutter!
Today, I want to talk to you guys about the importance of sleep on your health. That’s right, in certain ways not moving is as important as moving when it comes to the overall effects of your exercise. I want you guys to check out this incredibly informative article from Women’s Health (don’t worry guys this one totally applies to men as well). It talks about everything that we need to know about the importance of our sleep, it even tells you what type of person you are and your health habits based on how you sleep. I’m a side/stomach sleeper…. and the analysis was so spot on it kinda freaked me out! I think it’s pretty easy for us to forget how important it is to get some sleep, especially with how busy we get as the semester goes on. Besides being so great for your health, sleeping is awesome because sleeping leads to dreaming, and if you’re as obsessed with the movie, Pitch Perfect, as much as I am you’ve probably been dreaming about this:
But that’s neither here nor there; I just wanted to work Skylar Astin somewhere into the blog today…he’s so “aca-awesome”.
Anyway- for everything from sleeping patterns to working out earlier to turning off the electronics (it really does affect you!) this article is something that you should all keep in mind, especially before the semester starts up again!
So read the article, educate yourself, and go from this

To this
(Note: You’ll probably need to throw a few Ab workouts in there to obtain THESE results…but you get the point.)
So good night, sleep tight, and don’t let the bedbugs bite! What do you guys like to do to wind down at the end of the day?

This blog is aca-awesome! However, I don’t appreciate the use of the picture of my abdomen without my consent…

When I originally commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time a
comment is added I get three emails with the same comment.
Is there any way you can remove people from that service?
Appreciate it!

I don’t know that I can, I’m sorry. I don’t know why that is happening. Luckily not that many people comment. I’ll keep trying.
